After all the sewing I've done recently ... for the bazaar and the quilts for the 'greenery' girls ... I decided to sew something for myself.
I have these silk pillows on my living room chairs. They are a plain green, but with a lovely texture.
I wanted a big more pizzaz ... so I recovered them.
Updated ... but what is more traditional than a flame stitch?

I love the new look! I think it is much more interesting that the solid, which was hard to tell from a distance how nice that fabric was. I wish I could sew!
