Last weekend, I drove down to Pittsburgh with my brother, sister-in-law and niece.   We went to tour Fallingwater ... a Frank Lloyd Wright house.

We left at 6:00AM, and aside from one small detour and a stop for lunch, we made it in 6 hours.   Finding Fallingwater was not easy.   No signage and it is in the middle of NOWHERE.   Thank goodness for GPS.

The site is amazing.   It is tucked beside a waterfall, surrounded by lush trees.
After the tour, we wandered the site (you can't take pictures inside the home), then headed to downtown Pittsburgh for dinner.   Happily, it was the Jazz Festival, so we wandered first.

We stayed over and shopped on Saturday ... really we were in the States, with no sales tax,  how could we not shop?

Great weekend!
