This year we stopped at a store to get some pine. We can cut cedar, spruce and dogwood at the cottage, but I love the look of soft pine. In order to get a group shot, we had the cashier take our picture. She had to shut down her cash ... Everyone in the store thought we were nuts!
The first thing we did on arrival at the cottage was set the table (with our coats on while the furnace kicked in). It's all about the tablescape. We all brought something for the table this year.
And here is all my greenery:
Isn't he cute? ..... got him at the bazaar two weeks ago.
Gorgeous!! I would love to have something like that on my front stoop.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. The little snowman looks perfect there. I can almost smell the pine from here. Okay, I can at least smell the sap because I planted my pots last night and I can still smell the sap on my sweater hehe. I bought mine at the local grocery store though. Your lunch and day with the girls sounded like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute evergreen arrangement - and it will last for the whole winter too! I love the Buttertarts and More store in Little Britain - we stop there on the way to the cottage as well sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYou were blessed with Lovely greens, lovely picture, lovely friends, and a LOVELY DAY!!! I mentioned your blog on my new one because you inspired me to clean up my workshop. Thank you and many blessings, Lady Jane
ReplyDeleteSo much fun to holiday-ify a space! Love the greenery in the pot with Mr. snowman. Too cute!
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays, Sharon :)
