Progress being made

I'm making progress with the powder room.

Pretty subtle colour change!!

All the walls are now painted.  I had painted the ceiling a really lovely pale blue, but when I got the walls painted the line where they met was really uneven and bumpy (plaster work ... not my paint job).   So I just painted the ceiling navy too.   I love it.

I sewed a faux roman blind and installed.   Now I just have to get the frame with the mirror back from the glazier and get some pictures on the wall.

I also have a new light, but I can't get the old one down.   Have to wait for some manly brawn to visit!

  2. Holy cow, Sharon! That dark color looks striking with the white trim and fixtures. And your window treatment is faboosh, can you teach me to sew one??

  3. Thanks Sara. I made one earlier for my upstairs guest bath. Here's the tutorial from that post.

  4. It looks great Sharon!! Good for you for painting it yourself...I paint a lot of furniture, but I stink at wall painting!

Your new shade looks wonderful too!

  6. Hi Sharon, Thanks for stopping by my blog today. The blue color really makes the white pop! I would like to see a shot of the walls and the navy blue ceiling.
