Better Than a Shredder

I went through all my old files yesterday and had about a foot of paper to shred.

But I got rid of all that paper the old fashioned way.  Way better than a shredder ... ambiance and warmth!

    Now that's thinking...to bad I only have a gas fireplace, I have mountains of stuff that needs shredding.

    We do the exact same thing here and in the Summer I save all my paper in bags and then wait until it gets cold & rainy and then burn it all. Waaayyy better than a shredder, I agree!
