Lilacs

My French Lilac is out in bloom.
It's been raining here for the past week and it is expected to continue for another week.   As there is such a short window of opportunity to enjoy lilacs, when the rain held off this morning I brought in some stems for my desk while I work from home today.

Gorgeous fragrence is filling the office.   What a lovely mid-week treat.
Don't you wish they had "scratch and sniff" on the internet?

    Yes I do! I'm home from work this week and missing out on the lilacs we clip from at work. Hopefully there will still be some by next week.
