Wild Life

I was working from home this morning when I heard that noise ... you know the one ... it can only mean that you have a racoon in your attic.    I immediately called a wildlife control company and they dispatched a person out to check it out.

A visitor!!

They quickly captured him and installed wire gauge over the entrance.

Ahhh ... quiet.   Tenants gone.

 

April 12 ... really?

We are having another ice storm ... can it really be the middle of April?

My shrubs were just recovering and now they a are all weighed down with ice again :(

 I want to be out in the yard with my hands in the dirt, trimming, cutting back, planting.

Will spring ever come to 2013?


PS: My sister-in-law said my post was furthering the stereotype of Canada as the frozen north.   So just to clarify ... this winter storm came up from the  mid-west US  :)
