I admit it ... I haven't done any DIY or home improvements this month.   I've been lazy.

I did get my cable changed over to FIBE TV though.

and I love it.   I was able to bundle my phone, internet and TV and get a PVR for free!  I've been wanting a PVR for ages
I just watched a movie last night I recorded from Friday.   I guess the first time is the most exciting ... but wow, to be able to fast forward thru commercials ... does it get any better?
I also set to record Nate ... I know ... I have a very exciting life :-)

Green Side Up!

I found someone willing to deliver sod and carry it to my backyard.   They delivered on Friday when we got a record 36.7 mm of rain.
Saturday morning there was a lapse in the rain, so I was out by 9:00 laying sod.

It only took 9 rolls to once again have my beautiful garden.

 

Now praying to the Garden Fairies .... no more crab grass.

Peonies

What always happens when the peonies come out?  It rains.
My peonies came out yesterday and we are expecting 25-35 cm of rain today.   So I ran out and cut a bouquet to enjoy.

 

And they are in my favourite vase ... a Fitz and Floyd vase that looks like green onions.
